George Alston Handling Seminar
January 21 & 22, 2012
Paws N Effect
Hampden, Connecticut
For more than 25 years the South Windsor Kennel Club has sponsored the George Alston Handling Seminar, a two day intensive dog handling class conducted by George Alston, a former professional dog show handler. This is not like a handling clinic that you go to every week. It is like a college course in handling. George is not training the dog or teaching you how to show a particluar dog, but how to handle any dog in all situations and to win.
Novice and veteran handlers alike work side by side for 2 days. All come away with new handling techniques, more refined old techniques, a new understanding of the term "handling," and last, but not least, MORE confidence in their abilities.
This seminar in open to everyone on a first come, first pay basis. Members set up the area and we serve a continental breakfast and lunch.
FEES:
Participant with a dog: $150.00
Participant without a dog: $100.00
Fees are non-refundable.
Dogs under 1 year of age are not allowed at the seminar.
Your check gets you into the class and is not refundable if you change your mind and can not come. You can sell your space and let me know who is coming in your place. Please make your check out to South Windsor Kennel Club and mail to me, Peggy Wampold, 48 Columbine, Rd., Tolland, CT 06084.
On a separate piece of paper please put your name, address, telephone number, breed of dog and which class you wish to be in: Beginners, Advanced or Participants without a dog. If the class you wish to be in is full, I will return your check to you.
